I received your book and it’s just wonderfully illustrated. It is a great reference: simple and culturally diverse. The simplicity and visuals are stunning.

This is a great tool for all instructors and for group birth classes and might even be good for a health class in high schools.

Your ambitious undertaking is well needed.

Cara Lagunas This book is beautiful, informative, educational, and not preachy! Its message seems to address the beauty of how life begins and how we can give your baby a beautiful entrance into this world.

Perhaps the personal transformation someone would experience from reading this book, might be greater confidence on how to have a more peaceful and a calm delivery. The Birth Book shows a new mother how to decide how her birth can be.

This book has an emotional impact through its beautiful words and pictures and its very family-friendly. I love it!

I had the happy coincidence of reading Heather Moll’s The Birth Book within days of attending a birth. In preparation I had gathered the birthing books I had read when I was pregnant. Though very good for that time they now seemed wordy and poorly illustrated. When I had found Heather’s book I was impressed with how beautifully and simply it was presented: a very straightforward, well organized and easy read.

Within days, I got the call and I met the couple at the hospital. Knowing it would help,I brought The Birth Book. As it turned out, we referred to it often during early labor and all the way through transition. The description of the breathing patterns was very easy to understand and apply right then and there.

The hospital midwives and doctors were so impressed with how we were handling the labor. We all became a great team working together. After the baby was born the whole birthing floor was a buzz with Christian’s successful, natural birth.

I can’t thank you enough Heather for this wonderful book! I recommend it to all parents- to-be for its concise and descriptive writing, easy organization, and gorgeous illustrations. This book emotes warmth and love while providing the mother with a real understanding of what to expect. We also discovered that all of the labor management techniques were simple to apply and ease the birth experience.

Thanks again Heather!

Much love,
Kitty Magness

This book is very uplifting!  It held my interest and I wanted to keep turning to the next page!

I can see how the content of this book will help new mothers, fathers, doctors, midwives, doula’s and health educators. This book will help create better understanding of the whole birth process, and perhaps even reduce the use of drugs and C-sections.

The illustrations are amazing and I plan to have The Birth Book available in my office.

I wish I would’ve had this 37 years ago when I had my children. The Birth Book is amazingly simple to read and understand. It’s been many years since I’ve given birth but I discovered this book helped me to understand my body and what I went through to have my babies. The beautiful illustrations helped to keep me interested and made it easier to see what happens during childbirth. I just had a grandson and I wish my daughter could have read it before the birth. This book shares the knowledge and the idea that birth is not as scary as we sometimes hear. It gives the reader simple instructions on how to make the process work. Each mother deserves to have the best possible birth experience ever!
